Optional module · 80 guided learning hours · Closed-book written examination · 50% pass mark. This unit is specifically designed to provide information and to help understanding of green and sustainable logistics and supply chain management. It covers the environmental impact of logistics and supply chain operations, modal considerations, energy efficiency, future trends and strategies, the management of change aimed at improving sustainability, and the performance measures and monitoring needed to bring about planned changes. The unit takes an objective position across three components: green and sustainable logistics; sustainable operations today and in the future; and management, performance, and monitoring.
