Optional module · 80 guided learning hours · Closed-book written examination · 50% pass mark. This unit provides students with both knowledge and understanding of current trade patterns and the structure and operation of global and multi-national trade, business, and supply chains. It includes economic, environmental, cultural, political, and ethical issues and addresses how global trade is regulated, constrained, controlled, and monitored across all major modes of transport. It examines physical and human resource issues related to extended supply chain operation and control, the regulatory bodies and authorities involved, and the agreements and conventions relating to international trade and freight movements.
