Stand-alone unit focused on managing inventory, controlling stock, and managing performance. Covers stock classifications, forecasting, stockholding costs, inventory planning and modelling, inventory risks, reverse logistics, tracking and auditing, KPIs, and inventory reporting.

Course Details

Optional module · 80 guided learning hours · Closed-book written examination · 50% pass mark. The Inventory module focuses specifically on three areas: managing inventory (why organisations hold it, alternatives, stock classifications, trade-offs, stockholding costs, forecasting, inventory systems), controlling stock (planning, modelling, risks, commercial elements, reverse logistics, business-driven models, current systems), and managing performance (tracking, auditing, KPIs, reporting).
