تتناول هذه الوحدة أنماط التجارة الحالية وهيكل التجارة العالمية ومتعددة الجنسيات وآليات عملها. وهي مناسبة للمهنيين الذين يتعاملون مع الأسواق الدولية أو سلاسل الإمداد العابرة للحدود. تغطي الوحدة القضايا الاقتصادية والبيئية والثقافية والسياسية والأخلاقية المرتبطة بالتجارة العالمية، إلى جانب كيفية تنظيم التجارة الدولية وتقييدها والرقابة عليها ومتابعتها عبر أنماط النقل الرئيسية. كما تشمل الجهات التنظيمية، والاتفاقيات والمعاهدات، واعتبارات السلامة والأمن في التجارة والخدمات اللوجستية العالمية.

المنهج وتفاصيل الدورة

Optional module · 80 guided learning hours · Closed-book written examination · 50% pass mark. This unit provides students with both knowledge and understanding of current trade patterns and the structure and operation of global and multi-national trade, business, and supply chains. It includes economic, environmental, cultural, political, and ethical issues and addresses how global trade is regulated, constrained, controlled, and monitored across all major modes of transport. It examines physical and human resource issues related to extended supply chain operation and control, the regulatory bodies and authorities involved, and the agreements and conventions relating to international trade and freight movements.
