This unit is designed to introduce students to the systems and mechanisms used in planning, organising and operating freight transport in local, regional, national and international operations. The unit includes route planning and scheduling, collection storage and distribution centres, mechanisms for controlling operations, and regulation and enforcement of freight transport.
