How long does it take?

360 guided learning hours over 12–18 months. Most students depending on how the course is taught complete the qualification well within a year. The full diploma must be completed within 2 years of registration.

Is the program eligible for Tamkeen support?

Yes, eligible Bahraini learners may apply for Tamkeen support through Logic Institute, subject to Tamkeen's current approval criteria. Our admissions team can guide you through the process.

How are the units examined?

Each unit is assessed by a closed-book written examination drafted by the training provider and verified by CILT International before students sit it. The pass mark is 50%. If a candidate does not pass the full qualification, unit certificates are issued for any modules passed, and resit examinations can be arranged.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to complete the CILT Introductory Certificate or Certificate first?

It's recommended but not strictly required. The Diploma is free-standing — candidates with prior logistics or transport work experience can enter directly. Completion of the earlier CILT qualifications gives a strong head start on the management foundations and the elective choices.

How does this lead to MILT membership?

Successful completion of the CILT International Diploma plus a minimum of two years of relevant experience meets the eligibility criteria to upgrade from Student Member to Member (MILT) of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport.

Which elective and option combination should I choose?
